Now that's a right proper trail guide. Showing the way to safely and properly navigate a stream crossing. Taking time to point out some interesting critters in the water, how to check for snakes before continuing. Then waiting to make sure no sneaky snakes pop up with her poles at the ready till all cross safely. :) ;) ♥ ♥ ♥

Damn straight, Grumpy ... straight out of the Boy Scout Field Manual, right?

For those who may be unfamiliar with trekking poles (the "ski" poles in the pics), the lead uses of these are 1) to provide better hiking posture and upper body "pumping" action that improves circulation, especially to the arms, and 2) to improve stability over rough terrain. For us, however, a significant use is as Grumpy indicated, to probe brush and forest floor litter for random critters, especially snakes. And, since Mrs. Pix hikes completely naked, they help her to push aside brush that otherwise might scratch her delicate skin, especially the, poison oak common in our area.

"Clothes" is a bit of an overstatement, but I do always carry an "emergency cover-up", because you never know what could happen. "Cover-up" is also a bit of an overstatement.

Mrs. Pix favors a certain mesh beach cover-up that is voluminous but actually quite sheer, really hiding nothing. But in it she "feels" covered in it, which seems more important to her than what anyone might actually see. That's a bit problematic, pluse I find it unattractive, really, and so I prefer other choices.

Our standard is a men's sleeveless athletic shirt; not quite a "wife-beater" tank, but one of those generic basket-ball jersey style tops with big arm holes. If she stands straight, it can barely cover her ass and technically everything is covered that has to be covered, which is enough to get through an awkward moment. Of course, those big arm holes show plenty of side boob, but side boob is not illegal. Yet.

My favorite is a little hard to describe. It's a zip-up hoodie "jacket" just barely long enough to cover her ass if she actively holds down the sides ... otherwise half her ass shows even standing still. The magic of this item, however, is that it is completely sideless from shoulder to hip. If you think of "armholes", the armholes start at the top of the shoulder and go all the way down to just a handful of inches above them hem. EVERYTHING from the side is visible. So when standing still, tugging down, letting someone pass by, technically her ass, pussy, and nipples are covered, but just about everything else is visible, including most of her boobs. It's unmistakable that she is essentially naked, though technically covered. Then when she lets go - boing! Ass and pussy appear and usually at least one of her boobs hangs out.
