I wish you lived in the same city I do, and I'll be that any hetersexual male who works in the restaurant (or bar) business wishes to have you as customers.

But to be honest, we have had the awkward experience of being kicked out. We once found a little dive bar that we thought had a lot of potential, but it turned out that the owner did not appreciate Mrs. Pix's attire - ever. We tried three times, trying to tune her look to be "fun", yet something he would accept. The first two times he talked to us discreetly about the problem he had with what we doing, and we promised to adjust to his concerns. And we did. The third time he didn't even let me finish my beer ... he told us to leave and not come back.

Thank you. Over-attentive service is understandable and does sometimes happen, but this can make Mrs. Pix feel awkward so we don't encourage it.

You have a good memory, Rahul. Our first VC contri ever, in February 2014, was a restaurant set titled "Out To Dinner In Lace And Less". In it's way, that was much more bold than any of these here, and did, indeed, attract some very attentive service. More often, our dinners are more casual and try to have our fun discreetly - fun for us, but "under the radar"; we don't want to create any awkwardness for anyone.

For the most part, I think we are successful in being sufficiently discreet that even our servers don't take notice. At the restaurant of pics 7&8, however, we were long-time, frequent customers and became friendly with the management (not "that kind" of friendly) and I'm pretty sure that they were not so clueless, but they never raised any eyebrows or betrayed any notice. Unfortunately, management there has recently changed, so we either have to "retrain" the new people or prospect for a new playground. Also, one of the restaurants here imaged has completely shut down. :-(

i think its difficult to have fun and get un-noticed in a public place like a restaurant and even from the waiters.. hehehe....

You have a point, of course. It is necessary to be respectful and adapt to circumstances, but the reverse can happen, too. At the restaurant in pics 7&8, the staff learned which was our favorite booth and how we preferred to sit (which had to do with screening her rather bare nether regions from the rest of the restaurant). In another restaurant (not shown) the proprietress we came to call "the laughing lady" also came to recognize us and how we preferred to sit, and would leave us completely alone unless we signaled her over, giving us "privacy".

But of course there are those times when every waiter/waitress in the restaurant finds excuses to drop by to fill water glasses, clear plates, etc. That can actually be awkward rather than fun, so we do what we can to avoid that.

Being in an open restaurant with servers and other customers is pretty limiting, so rarely do we get any pics at all. When we do, it's often just one or two, if even that because of the impromptu nature of things and usually poor lighting. But ... we've done this a lot, so yes, there is more to come. Probably mostly singles on our blog, but maybe another set or two.
